We have an outdoor/indoor cat and fleas have always been a problem. The normal flea/tick medicine you put on the back of the neck was not working well and I was tired of spending money on it. So we looked for something better and stronger. We live by the woods so the fleas and ticks are abundant. Our cat is about 4 now and we’ve purchased the collar three times (when it’s warm out, we don’t get another one when winter is around) it’s worked every single time. He’s never been irritated by it like other reviewers have said. I think some cats are allergic to the ingredients and it can be deadly or cause sores but my cat has showed no signs of that even are dog hasn’t (we have purchased 1 beforehand for him but he doesn’t really get fleas). All I can say is if you purchase this collar keep a very watchful eye the first day or so because you never know if your animals are allergic to it or not. Also I recommend being able to fit able 2 fingers between your cat and the collar, may help with discomfort.

My indoor cats somehow got fleas and nothing was helping. We tried flea baths and many expensive liquid topical treatments but nothing was knocking them out. As a desperate, last ditch effort I bought these collars. It was pricy so I was hesitant, but boy am I glad I bought them. Fleas were jumping off my cats almost immediately and now they are completely gone (after just a couple of days). I was worried about adverse reactions, my cats not wanting to wear them and about them getting stuck/my cats getting injured..but none of that happened. My cats tolerate them just fine. They are not thick/bulky. They are lightweight and thin. This will now be the only thing I buy going forward. It's like magic!

I am very impressed with the Seresto flea/tick collars I purchased for my 2 cats. They are outside a lot, and like to play in the woods. I put the collars on about 6 weeks ago and so far there has been no evidence of any kind of critter on them. It was so easy to put a collar on them once for 8 months versus the drops I had always used previously each month which left their fur oily no matter how slowly and carefully I used it. Price wise it was significantly cheaper than purchasing 8 months of the (good quality) drops I had been using. I was also pleased to find that there were 3 VERY visible reflectors you could put on the collars since my cats are sometimes out after dark.

I’ve had INDOOR cats (as I do not believe in cats or dogs only outside…if you won’t leave your toddler outside unattended you should not leave your fur babies either) my whole life. Never have I ever had an issue w/fleas as I don’t wear shoes inside but this year in Tacoma, WA it has been crazy and NOTHING worked not even Vet scripts! My sweet Dr. Bubble Gupples my beautiful Tortie who just turned 8 was somehow infested and scratched and ate herself alive. I was devastated and spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars. I even advantaged bombed my apt and washed every single cloth item in HOT water and Nothing! I’m not a collar cat mom I use a harness and or my double cat stroller, that said I went on a limb and tried the Sestro collar and prayed this would work as I was out of money at this point but yet my 2 cats come before myself and my 7yr old son lol. Within 48 hours if that, ans I would NEVER give false testimony nor am I getting anything free or discounted (although that would be great haha) This flea and tick collar is hands down the BEST! She’s no longer itching, scratching, biting, growling, etc…she’s no longer miserable! She’s HAPPY! It’s like I won the lottery! She finally comes back in the kitchen to get her wet food twice a day as they have dry 24/7 and cookies on demand plus “soup” at lunch lol…oh thank you so much SESTRO because apparently they became immune to Advantage 2 (9+lbs) and I was going crazy! My two beauties are so happy and I owe my life and gratitude to you. Pros - Got rid of fleas and eggs within 48 hrs - Cat was no longer in distress Cons - Honestly, I can
